The Newts and ORWBL celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2017... A special night game was held on June 3 to mark the anniversary of the first league series in history. The Newts dropped two of three to the Mechanics at Migley Field... New Carlisle received a boost in offensive production, as Scott Soos and Garrett Curless returned to more normal numbers after a subdued output in 2016.
